It looks like you've removed support for the pre rev1 boards rather than adding a code snippet.

A better approach to minimise branch divergence is to grab the latest 3 commits from https://github.com/jgarff/rpi_ws281x/commits/master/ which appear to include this support.

I dont have a test environment anymore but can probably do the git stuff to make this happen.

There is still an open PR from my repository. That is the reason why I opened a second branch here. The master branch should always be synchronized with the original repo. The main branch already contains the customization from the PR, without which it is not possible for us to build Hyperion with Qt6.
Apart from that, the master branch already contains changes (made by you?) that do not appear in the original repo commit history. Or am I missing something?
